After my trip to look at the demo work on Lapworth House I popped into Brum city centre and found there are still quite a few machines that are on the site of what is to become the new Birmingham central library, machines that belong to both Armoury demolition and Flannery's too.
The first two pics were taken from the adjacent multistorey carpark, the others were taken from the wall on Baskerville House, I half expected a security guard to come out and ask me what I was doing on the wall?
Then my camera battery died aw boo :x
Did manage to get a shot of Armoury's little long reach demo Zaxis 225 machine though.

And a few more taken today of the site that was cleared by Armoury and still has their machines at work there, this will be the new Birmingham Library I should of taken a shot of the boarding outside of this site which shows what the new library will look like...... a prison  I kid you not.
And look at the Cat 345 pics to see what a difference it makes when you finally get the sun shifted into the right part of the sky

Yeh but those pics you posted on here on the second page were taken a while back wernt they? Yes he did post some pics of it on there.....along with a few of Armourys Volvo....

The pics im talking about are the ones that are facing the cab and the caption is
"here is a machine parked in their yard in birmingham not sure i think it is the 670 but it could be the 870??"

Thats the 870 for the reason i gave before! haha.....

Incidently this machine is the same as the one Dorton Demolition from sussex??? has just taken delivery of....article in earthmovers this month about said machine!

Hey

Well i know a few of you have already seen these over on dhs, but thought id post them here as im sure you guys will appriciate these more! Basicly armoury are demolishing an old cemex plant near me in rochester. Basicly the job is being carried out on behalf of hydrock, and also involves the demolition of a 300ft chimney, which is due to happen on the 19th (dont worry i plan to try and get some pictures of that aswell!). Anyway last friday i grabbed the camera and went and took a few shots. Now most of the machines were parked up as they finish at lunch time on a friday to drive back home for the weekend. So if i get chance i will pop back and try and get some in action pics! Anyway i hope you all enjoy!
