Went out to an Iveco today - driver reported noise from the gearbox - had it towed in as it also had no drive and whipped the gearbox out and found this.............

Only the centre of the centre plate

Yes nice pics mate I have seen several of the Lipe Rolway clutches come out of the old Sed Atki 400 series trucks in much the same condition.
They were a twin plate dry clutch with a cast iron intermediate plate that was about 1/2" or so thick, I've both seen and taken these cast iron intermediate plates out in four pieces before now.
It is also amusing how some drivers manage to describe failures, like the chap who phoned up a company I worked for many moons ago and said his oil filter had dropped off. Yes this was a Bedford TK Luton van and a conrod had gone through the block and smashed the oil filter clean off the side of the engine.
