I have an old MF 244 crawler in a shed taking up space. It has a loading bucket and a big weight on the back, but no ripper tines. It was driven in, and I'm pretty sure its in working order, though rather tatty. Does anyone have any idea as to its value, and how should I go about selling/marketing it? A local scrap man has eyed it up and offered me £80/tonne, but I've no idea what weight it would be either. Anyway I would rather it went to a good home than the scrap yard!

HI B100 loader , go on buy it your self.I think i remember you saying you had 11 ,one more makes an even dozen. AND ANOTHER one more makes an even evener bakers dozen :D :D :D Mate if there enough of them your missuss isn't going to realize that there breeding .I know bulldozers are doing it here at home.AT last count ,there was EIGHT of them and i dont think i have enough fingers and toes to count the combine machine and truck population. Do what I did build the wife a craft room, Loves me to death for that plus doesn't poke her head outside of it to notice the ever increassing population, No love the little yellow ones not new ,its just been parked on the other dide of the shed for a while. ian.

Hi all,
I have 2 of the 2244 drotts parted out here...if you need parts,I can supply.I can also get new discs.Steering issues are a concern on them,if they have sat for awhile.Good, handy sized Drotts.

Jim

Don't know Jim,may be a later model.I have worked on MF200,200D and 300's plus the 50B loader.
Would like to see the 244 heading this way.Not comming in my direction as I have enough machines to play with.
A good mate of mine is interested as he likes these loaders.
Hopefully he will get it as it would look great when its restored alongside the other loaders at our local shows.

HI Jim, have you been in hibernation? Hows things down your way, starting to look greener still black? I didn;t know there was a 244,i thoughy it was a typo and missd the first 2.B100 ,you can never have to many tractors. Jim ,I was going to get ahold of you to find out if you had any btd6 steering clutch plates. The main clutch plates in our fowler vf are allmost the same apparently, but scoullers have new plates and are sending a new set up. How are you going getting tracks for your drott you are doing up?Ian.
