hi jim, Wouldn't it be lovely to finally find that elusive track guru.Would answer a lot of my prayers. But i guess their like the tassie tiger, rumored to be out there with unconfirmed sighting but probably extinct :dizzy: Our shed was 12mts by 18 mts and put a 10 mt by 18 mt extension on the side and guess what ,it still isn't big enough  My mate that did the extension now wants to put a 22mt by 10 mt extension on the side  If i only had a big enough lump in the materess to pay for it .I did a google search for 244 and all i came up with was a model of one for sale .It seemed to have higher loader tower on it than what i remember the 2244 having. A mate has had 3 or 4 massey 200's For the size of them I was amazed how well they push. ian.

Hi Marc,
The 244 had an A 3.152 diesel engine.The 2244 had the AD 3.152. The 1973 MF200 had same engine as a 244...A 3.152.
I wonder if the 244 was made to take a backhoe, hence the slight variation with model number ???
Can you get some more working pics .... plus a layout shot of the operator's seat/controls.?
Good luck with the 244.
Jim

I just realized that the 244 has a Loader linkage similar to the 300.
The 200 & 2244 have a Z-bar.

the loader linkage on the 244 and 200 were the same in britain.
dad used to own a 244 and 200 years ago he thinks the tracks on the 200 were stronger. the 200 was a later model after the 244

Thanks for posting the 244 Brochure,Merfyn.
Is there a year printed on it anywhere?

I have posted some pictures of 2 Aussie machines...a 200B & my 2244.Note the loader frames made by (i think),ROH Adelaide.
Also a parts book cover...possibly from UK/USA.

SO,are you saying the UK machines all had the same style loader frame as on the 200B parts book.??
