I don't know Pete, the dipper looks long as its' possible it could be from late 580c, the boom looks like a Heath Robinson affair,it is curved, the tracks look ok for a 580 ... over to you Jeremy

Hi Geoffrey, machine looks like an 1968 3Cmk2, first of the mk2's, i think i am right in saying that they only made this style for about a year, the story goes, drivers complained about cab, as 3c mk1 operators were bashing their heads on the windscreen, as they were used to front sloping windows, s...

I can recommend the Battle of Britain museum at Hawkinge!
A spitfire i dug out in a field near Sandwich back in the early eighties, is exhibited up there, well the engine block and other bits are there.... the engine was 25ft down.
