Every progress is a step forward. I will have to rebuild the bucket ram in the future. It leaks a little. But not so bad yet.

Please keep us updated of how you get along with this. My Hymac tend to creep to the side to when digging in a slope

To be more mobile with my Hymac i have spent the last couple of mounts building a wagon so i can pull my excavator short distances

Yes i fitted cable control. I would estimate the cost for the whole rebuild to around 335£
After this rebuild the machine is almost as easy to operate as a servo controlled machine.

Finally the winter is over, the beautiful spring is here, i love it :) As i said before i wanted to rebuild the sliding door and make it to the more modern model with hinges instead. With the new controls it would also give some valuable extra space in the cab. Here comes some photos of the rebuild:...
