Nothings new

Hello I found this in a 1950's mag. Hydrostatic transmission with two lever control and high line sprockets all in 1958!!! It was the BB90 made by a company called Bagnall. It was powered by a Meadows Diesel and weighed in at 8 tons. Apparently dozers and loaders were developed for it. 8-)...

Re: Marshall Fowler Roller

Hello Jeremy This Fowler Marshall roller looks identical inside and out to the Road Marshall I had in the early 80s. My roller had a Lister HA3 engine, it had joy-stick steering like the one in your photos. I worked for Eddison Plant in 1970 and they had several in their fleet, they were new then. I...

Re: Mortimer Manufacturing Ltd/Stothert & Pitt/ JCB????

HI.
Correct me if I'm wrong, its a long time ago, but I think it was Mortimer who took over production of the rollers made by Atkinsons of Clitheroe. I'm not sure I think it was in the late 80s. I did some work on a couple of them,
they had an all gear drive train.
