Re: Hymac 580C slew motor seals
Thanks for the videos Matias. I recall i have seen them before. I think i saw them on the Swedish sister sight Maskinisten. In the number 3 video it really seems slow in the slew. Did it come suddenly or over time?

Re: Hymac 580C slew motor seals
Hi! Would be interesting to see a picture of your Hymac. Not everyday you see a wheeled Hymac. As far as i know the 610 is similar to the 580 model, but with other undercarriage, so the staffamotor should be the same. Dont know the part number, but i think Jeremy on this forum knows

Allways interesting to read abour your machine and the progress you make on here Jeremy. She locks really fine now :claphands: Interesting to see the solution regarding the transition from dipper arm to the bucket cylinder. Mine has not this short steel pipes there, it is just two long hoses instead...

Re: New owner of Hymac 580B
Earlier in this summer i had some of the bigger hydraulic houses changed. One problem during this was the screw connector on the hydraulic pipe that seemed to be soldered. When dismantling the houses the soldering broke lose, not the thread. The solution was to dismantle the hydraulic pipe and weld ...

Re: New owner of Hymac 580B
Compering pictures between your BT and my B i can see yours has more cover in front of the aria where the air filter is located, maybe this is why you don't get water in there Jeremy.

Re: New owner of Hymac 580B
Yes i had filled it up to the correct level according to the manual  But the rain made the level to high after a while. Today Diana had to work for me. She runs so smoothly and fine, Words can not describe how glad i am that the engine seems to be fine after the incident  20190917_1604...

Re: New owner of Hymac 580B
Im thinking of maybe mount a dry filter from the later 580C  If you get it touch with Tony, maybe you can ask him if he heard of any Hymac with hydrolock problems. I know at least one in Sweden that had the same problem. It happened with his Hymac once after severe raining. But he was lucky, ...
