we had a new 30 rb at dowsett 1969 skelmersdale by pass the driver was jim morgan ,i fitted power lowering gear in that awful wigan rain.

Hello Craig and Paul, Deffinitely an Allis. In the 1960's I worked (fitting) for The Cardiff Plant Group, they ran Allis machines and I worked on them all. There were five HD16 blades, two 7 HG7 shovels and three 6G shovels like the one in the photo.and aTL20 wheeled shovel. They were good reliable...

i can remember fitting head gasket on vickers dozer on m18 m1 junction with ian schofield [pink top] 1965/66 at dowsett
