Re: Hillhead 2012 - Mining Machinery News

A few from me. (I dident see any of the gang off here either) :o

Joe - Just think of the time and money to scrap all the stock of parts and re make them with CAT on them that were already in the system. I bet they still said O&K on when they became Terex.

Re: Carrying On - Older Trucks in Use

Well it would be quite an advert for the company and create a talking point. I'll bet they are not inclined to do long motorway trips. :) Probably leave them to Pickfords etc Lot better looking than 'Man in white Luton van' used for most local moves & look a lot clasier in the better parts of L...

Re: Carrying On - Older Trucks in Use

If it works (upload that is) then here is a pair of very old removals vans one of which that is still in regular use in Yorkshire according to a truck magazine article on it the other year. (cannot remember which of the pair it is)

Re: Russell Saywell's open day. Sunday June 10th.2012

Sorry No photos to share as Forum yet again fails to upload them to share with you :arrrrgh: I cannot be bothered to search...

Re: A+B Plant Hire an Aveling-Barford Company

 CAT didn't own Hewden Stuart, but their UK dealer Finning did. Finning sold Hewden Stuart to a venture capital company, but do maintain their own rental fleet of CAT equipment in the UK, though don't like to advertise that they do. Thanks IBH for that clarification  (updated by earlier p...

Re: A+B Plant Hire an Aveling-Barford Company
