Thanks for that. I'll investigate further. I should know all about circuits and things but my mind goes blank for some strange reason.

1992 3CX project 8. My temperature gauge has stopped working. Can some kind person tell me how to check if it's the sender, the gauge itself, or something inbetween please ? I know it's elementary electrics but me and electrics don't get on too well.

Understand about the Grockels Richard. Round here it's horses and riders. In my opinion all road-going nags should be made to have road tax and at least 3rd party insurance, an MOT that includes an emmision test, and any drivers should have a valid driving licence. For the shows its not so much the HSE at the site but it would be a pain in the proverbial to move them there.....trundling along at 10mph....and the traction belt breaks.....holding up the traffic.
