Something different which don't see everyday .....a Renault half cab steel carrier and a new Pisten Bully PB600W. The Piste Basher has two business ends..a PAVT blade on the front and this view of the rear which incorporates the tiler essentially a high power rotavator and up to a winch which rotate...

Julian. Good find.....absolutely Classic ! I think it looks like a B100. These were actually quite a popular set up in their time.

Yes there were a couple Tourneaucranes around the assembly building yard which were being used. Didn't think much about them back then as being young I didn't fully understand RGs significance until a few years later. Was more interested in seeing the 830s built :D Sometime later I read the book R.G...

Quite a change. I visited this facility in the 90's not long after it became Komatsu. They were building Haulpak 830 dump trucks but still had a couple of Dresser 4000 wheel loaders on site.....these must have been the very last of those shovels built. It is certainly a site steeped in history.

Well quite a range of machines this month from vintage, classic and modern, from the work place and the show ground. The June winner IS .........
