Re: Towing Ifor Williams type trailers behind artic units?
3.5t is the max on overun brakes, and ball type hitch, with coupled brakes and a suitable ring hitch its only the design weight of the trailer and plated weight of the E12 that limit you. A trailer specialist will give more definate advice but I would suspect that a 4 to 5 tonne gross trailer could ...

If you can succeed in a recession you will end up with a strong and secure business. What commitments do you have, wife, kids, mortgage etc and savings, capital to fund equipment and materials. Don't forget that some of your customers will want to be invoiced and pay at the end of the month. Lack of...

Yep both clear, oil comes out of both of them. Oil looks ok, will do the inlet hose and return filter and see how it goes, just don't understand why it's ok with the engine running.

Even if the rams are separate it is not safe to leave anything suspended in this way, have you got a wall or something you can rest the bucket on

Can't see why ATF won't work, land rover specify it as the correct oil for MT75 and R380 manual gearboxes. If you use EP90 instead it foams and gets blown out the breather (found out after a so called expert used it after rebuilding the 2nd gear synchro ) have now switched to a synthetic alternative...

Hi
Not been on here long myself but there are some real gurus on here. Have learnt a lot from reading the old threads, look in loaders / backhoes and in technical.

Hi
Stage 1 of the refurb complete. All rust cut out from cab and new panels welded in. Stage 2 rub down and repaint, to do this the glass needs to come out and I doubt that the gaskets will survive. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good (cheap) supplier

Re: Digging Force / Hydraulic Pressure 3D111
OK some more detail hopefully this may help with the right direction, Back actor only wants to do 2 things at a time, right hand lever straight back so bucket closing and dipper coming back, then try to raise boom or slew and nothing happens until right lever released. Parked up and switched off, op...

How much digging force should my 3D111 have, at about 6ft reach the bucket just about lifts the back of the machine. none of the ram seals leak and the actor stays where you put it more or less, it does drop slowly. I think it should perform better than this. The rev counter isnt working but had it ...
