Remember in 70's 80's they used to deliver scraper boxes on the road towed behind normal wagons, but never took a pic :(

Yes most of their stuff was on Majors then they moved on to the Ford 1000 range.
They were decades ahead with 'Droop Snoots' to view the loader bucket as well ,this is a sixties 603. Edit -should be '303'

Ah Whitlocks my favourite old machine. Constantly reading that JCB invented the backhoe loader but Whitlock Bros beat Joseph Cyril to it by two years with the Dinkum Digger.Mind you to be fair I have never heard it quoted from JCB themselves that they invented the concept. Interesting comments about 'Earthmovers' not paying for photos, that would annoy me greatly on principle. Often find if an outfit has no integrity in the little matters it has none in the larger . I went off 'Earthmovers' because it seemed to concentrate on Quarry Plant and Southern Ireland. Classic...
