Hi Dave,
As far as i can remember the pitch was about 6 degrees which will increase the loading capacity and the gabions were 4.2mm rigid panels so when ur base unit is 3m wide gradually decreasing to 1m on the top unit you have a fairly strong structure.this job was to extend the length of a pier.

Heres a few more.The machine had to be transported 150 meters morning and night on a private asphalt road that we couldnt track on.8210 was a bit light of the backend but was never out of first gear and got the job done:D

Yes Tim, about 76 tons sitting on the trailer.The trailer was only a week old and this was its second load.When we moved behind the truck when we got onto the motorway it was surprising to seehow much the trailer was flexing up and down.
