Re: B100 Drott Restoration Project

I've not had much experience with these but from what I can remember once you'd had the fuel system apart they were a right basket to bleed so don't be surprised if it's a piglet to start! Having back up batteries on had could be an advantage when you get to that point. Good luck, and let us know wh...

Re: Classic pictures Update 23/11/2017

The picture of the resurfacing gang looks to be from 2 different eras. On one side the gang look to be from the 60's, yet the traffic is 80's.
Is the guy with the shovel wearing a tie?
Edited to add... Going on the style of the shovels, would this be Ireland perhaps?

Re: Fordson Major V8 conversion Cooling issues.

Hi and welcome. From memory the standard rad is the full width/height of the bonnet so unless you're thinking of one that is thicker I'm not sure what else will fit. The only things I can suggest is make sure the fan is well shrouded to give a ducted effect, maybe tweak the fan blades to give a bit ...

Re: Then and now

I wish! I haven't officially worked on a farm for over thirty years, but I can be found in greasy, wet, and rusty crap whenever the opportunity arises. It has a 6x3 trans, button shifted on a joystick. Don't know what other boxes were available, this one has A,B,and C ranges. It shifts A 1-6, then s...

Re: Then and now

I bought my 110 camera soon after starting work. It went through an aprenticeship, 3 years of college, 3 years of contracting, and on until I bought a digital camera around 2005. I still have it though.
The front links on the 7700 were for a flexicoil packer. From what I remember not very successful.

Re: UK no. plates

Thanks guys, yes the modelling forums are well worth a look. Ah, er... wrong sort of modelling. Ahem. To get the correct proportions (back to number plates!), I did think about taking a picture of the actual plate and re-sizing it but to get it to print anywhere close looks like it could be more luc...
