I have never seen a six wheeler Ford Thames before were they common ? They had a few depots around London and the south east if I remember rightly Martyn,here's a38RB on the Volvo and a Seddon low loader from the Basingstoke depot

Fred here's a pic of the Brunsdon Foden at a rally when it was owned by Tim Beaven of Hindhead Surrey in the 1990's. I reckon he backed that old LAD over the edge on purpose seeing as everyone else on the firm had Scanias or Volvos. I reckon I would have come to grief getting in and out of one of those LAD cabbed Dodges or Leyland Comets all day Pete or a Thames Trader-slipping off those step rings could make you...
