I spotted this on the Memories of Shropshire Quarries group on Facebook - a Merton wheeled loader (model unknown) working in Nills Hill Quarry.

I came across the below image in an old academic journal article dating from 1964 with the below photo of a 1 3/4 cubic site dumper - no OEM ID, but it does bear the name of the plant hirer Eddison. It may be a Barford/Aveling Barford unit.
