Yep, you've got a good memory! Hillmans came from Hillmans Farm, Chapel Lane, Bolney. The other low loader was Beasley Bros, yellow and blue 3 axle scania with a tandem axle drop neck trailer from Copthorne.

I worked for this firm in the early 90's. I got this scania at 23 and would n't get out of it, god I loved it! Wish it was my own and still had it. She was a good old girl and the trailer was brill!

I've noticed both Roly and Nicky Lamb are conspicuous by their absence. Wots happened to both of them or have they deffected..........

I bought a couple of second hand machines from hydrex that were ex Lindsey plant and I had good service out of them just took some effort to repaint them to get rid of that horrible paint job!

I do a lot of clearance work and in my experience pulverisor blades are too blunt to split timber and if they did it would n't be cost effective. If you want too split wood and lots off it cheaply put a hydraulic splitter on a little old tractor. If its for a home fire I've seen some good cheap elec...
