if i recall right: battery and batt tray out. flywheel cover splits off over the top and back. basically you then have access to the clutch and related parts. it swaps in and out. if i remember right tho access is a real pain. been a good while tho so dont quote me! you'll get it done in a saturday ...

hardly had any snow or ice over the weekend. infact i think it has thored a little today. left for work this morning at 7 with a little rain wanting to be snow. i'd be very surprised if the cold is affecting it in such a way, we are talking uk cold not alaska cold?! assuming the oil is not the right grade or mixed with another oil? ...shall have a ponder and a coffee.

have you checked any of the filters on the hyd system?
not sure if your hyd system would work the same but if there is any resistance in supply they will automatically shut down capacity so not to effectivly suffocate the pump and run it dry.
you should find strainer and main filters in the tank.

not been that bad in northamptonshire, the main roads are near completely clear, as of 10pm wed, 6th. back roads, less used roads and estates are litterally sheet ice tho. where the snow has been either polished or part melted and frozen again. not the best. lets see what the rest of the week brings...
