Re: Neath Steam & Vinttage show 2019
Great pictures I would love to get to that show one year, I love that old Ford 13-6 Autodig what a lovely straight old machine reminds me of being a kid during the 70's playing on them! I also noticed amongst the JCB's a very clean 3D mk3 does anyone have any more pictures of that one. Is Martyn st...

Glad you could make it Jeremy and good to see you again! Ian Davies always puts on an excellent show with something for everyone and a lot of hard work goes into the planning, the only variable is the weather but we've been lucky for the last two years, the fowler did get fitted with the blade and I...

Fair play to you Malcolm that is a great project! There's a wealth of knowledge on here and we'll help where we can and we will love to see plenty of pics as it progresses. My advice " eat the elephant in small chunks," you'll have good days and bad days and sometimes walk away gather you'...

Looking for an old Drott or similar
Happy New Year Gents!
I'm looking for an old crawler loader to rescue for using in an old quarry, anybody know for one that would fit the bill?
Thanks
Ian

Re: Ransomes T51D/951D Batwing Mower, losing power under Load
Is the mower hydrostatic drive? Could be that the filters are blocked under suction load going up hill and draining the power of the engine trying to drive it forward hence no problem when on flat or going downhill as there is not as much demand on fluid to drive it? Could be a stab in the dark as I...

Re: Benford 150 dumper
I've just done a newage 40'm gearbox with the exact same symptoms! There's a bearing on the front end of the box which wears and then allows the main shaft to lift giving the problems with 1st and 2nd but ok into 3rd, took the box out and had to rebuild the casing as the bearing had worn away and wo...
