Hi Martyn,
Thanks for your very interesting information. I was not aware that they had depots down that way.
Thanks
Mark

Bedfordia Plant Group, remember them?
I mentioned the Bedfordia Group in the Radwell Gravels post. They still have their farming interests but does anybody remember or have any pics of their plant? I remember that they had a crane hire division as well and I think that they sold out to Isis Plant, probably, early to mid 80's. Cheers Mark

Radwell Gravels, remember them?
Just wondering if anybody remembers Radwell Gravels from Radwell in Bedfordshire. They had a couple of pits around Radwell and Felmersham I think. I believe they were part of the Bedfordia Group and were then taken over by Steetley Minerals in the late 70's early 80's. They had at least one Russian ...

Hi Gordon,
Enjoy your pics and saw that you have posted a few from the Cambridgeshire/Beds area.
Do you have any more from my stomping ground?
In particular, have you any of MJ Rolls Volvo F86 or F88 at work, or do you have any more of Mr Hull's Fodens?
Cheers
Mark

Re: road closed
IBH,
You got me thinking with your reply mate.
Ive had a quick check on the net, Jet bought Tetlaw, evidently in 2004 but I thought it was later than that.
Anybody have any more pics of planing equipment or for that matter pavers in action?
Cheers
Mark.

Re: road closed
I think Tetlaw have been taken over by Jet Plant from Evesham. Like alot of industries, the local planing companies seem to be being swallowed up by the big boys. Alot of the companies operate pretty much nationwide which is why most of their tippers have big sleeper cabs. I have a mate who used to ...

Re: Road going tipper trucks
Hi Tracshovel, thanks for your info about the Hinos, it's interesting about the parts prices, its always been a problem for Japanese vehicles. Do you drive that FH in your profile pic and if so can you post a few pics of it, looks like a smart bit of kit! Tim, thanks for your pic. I like the R cab, ...
