Re: Great Dorset Steam Fair 2010

Hi all I'm just going to post a few truck pics for this evening, some machines that are rarely seen even at events like this.
I will post more plant pics too when the chance presents itself.

Re: Great Dorset Steam Fair 2010

Re: Great Dorset Steam Fair 2010

Last set of pics for tonight as I'm going cross eyed  The ERF in the first pic is quite probably an ex-Calor transport motor as I fitted re-con 250 Cummins engine into its sister vehicle reg no DTF422V :geek: many moons ago when I worked for H Fellows Tpt, the vehicle in question was being used...

Re: Hymac Excavators

Thanks for that link IBH  first time I've had chance to watch it, but very interesting.
The Hymacs that are in the clips are; 1290 face shovel, 890 face shovel and a very quick glimpse of a 580C back acter.

Re: Great Dorset Steam Fair 2010

Here's a few of the many truck pics that I took, I will post more as I re-size them, also I will post a working sequence of shots of the RB dragline that was in operation. Yes Steve the weather stayed dry but only just, it was threatening rain as I drove off so I reckon that was timed just right. :l...

Great Dorset Steam Fair 2010

Well I finally made the effort to get to this event and thought it was well worth the effort too. There was no as much plant there as I would of wanted to see but alas its good that there was some working plant on display. There was a vast array of preserved trucks there, which I will post pictures ...
