Hi Tone,

Not had anything to do with New Holland or formerly Kobelco excavators :dizzy: oh I just remembered I did do a few days on Phil Hills import Kobelco which was a good little machine and looked like brand new despite having over 6000 hrs on the clock!!

Great old time photos Tim, That old TS must of had a respray at some point ???? Very Grey??? Do you live around the North Hampshire area ? I can recall Rocon and #i think they were based around the Basingstoke area or somewhere nearby :dizzy: Done a fair bit of work up that way myself over the years...

They run on red diesel, we have used 18,000,000 ltrs of fuel at this fuel point in 4 years.Our record is 43,000 ltrs into 20 locos in 24 hours.We have a faster turn around than Wiiliams racing team! Spotted this old Case 580F today at a tractor sales yard we visited today. This machine was my first love mate,being around the age of 4 when dads were able to take there nippers to work this machine was a god send,i could sleep on the padded innerwing as being there was no door to open with access...

my grandad who recently passed away, had a jcb mk2 which he used to used and was recently parked up due to the engine siezeing up i think, his wife (my stepgran) has asked me to move it and get rid of it, i am not really sure what to do, is it worth anything as 1 piece? or maybe just cut it up for ...

Hi all,
Here are some more Cat Excavators that were at work on the Whiddon Down improvement works in Devon a year or so ago, John Jones was the principal earthmoving contractor but some machines were hired in from Coles plant & John Craxford.
