Hi Pete The 2H gave the High Tip version that was required to load high hoppers. Did I send you the DVD of the 2H at work? That showed some HiTips at work

Hi Andy I have PM'd you, although the cabs looked the same they where different. another machine that might be of interest for modelling is the L64 I will send you details of that one as well

Hi Andy I think it only had a buffer beam at the rear but retained it loader arms and bucket as shunting was a secondary job for the machine. Early shutters had frames to connect front and rear buffer beam because they were based on tractors and therefore only had light weight body panels which were...

The 2H modified to have a centre crowd ram usually had a crane attachment not a bucket. The bucket shown looks a bit wide they usually only covered the front track the extra holes in the sidearm cross member are for the manual bucket release.

No that used to be the standard wheel base they extended it when the driver protective cab and ROPS/FOPS cab came into production as they required stronger mountings these where the series 2 machines

Looking at the pic it looks like L62B /9 short wheel base Leyland 401 engine Clark transmission centrax axles and the colour look like Hoveringhams the cab doors would have the logo on them the exhaust and air cleaner are non standard
