Looks like a D9H to me to Ian, the HD41 has got twin exhausts. I have an old Guinness book of records with a picture of a large dozer in a drag line bucket, I'll look it out, it might be the HD41 ?

This was Rogers machine Martyn. It came from Truro, Cornwall, apart from that i don't know much about it.

Very interesting ,Do you know if there are any photo's of those dozers working in that mine Dah.

I have more to put up Martyn, Darren also said he has a couple more albums for me to scan off so should have even more.

Pics from Roger Champion's archive. Moving old coal tip at Merthyr Tydfil in 1978. Roger was dozer operator on D9H for Wights PH cross hired to John Jones. The boy in the photos is Rogers son Darren, who is also a Plant operator now and is a work mate of mine.
