Hi, I'd put money on the problem being the pump delivery valve . As has been said the pump only delivers a small amount of fuel at each stroke and the delivery valve is there to maintain pressure in the injector line and keep the line and injector fully charged with fuel between pump delivery stroke...

Hi,
Just found this illustration in the Leyland manual showing the tool I referred to in my last post. It is used first to expand the top of the sleeve then pushed in as shown to expand the bottom.
