One thing I have done since my last big post was changing the brake pads, its just a joy to be able to stop the machine now!!! Parts were picked up from vicary plant, shipped to us here in Ireland.

Hello there, Yes, a few years old and I've been busy with a few other projects. Heaterbox rebuild will come after the cab rebuild. Planning the cab rebuild this winter.

You're getting there!!I see you took the handy way out with the link fanbelt.Saves taking the shaft off........You'll get a key easily on ebay or most tractor parts stores should have them.Just a standard Lucas key. Thanks for the support. Bit by bit is right. I’ll replace the fan belt and use that...

Check out DLI Seals in Durham as the company in Dublin I dealt with used them as the experts for finding and sizing the seals.

Hi, I got them from a company in Dublin. Hydra seals (hose and bearings).
They said it is a IGM seal kit.

Just to let ye know the seals in the ram worked and no more leaks. Just been tipping away at a few things around the yard with it and it’s humming away beautifully.

For posterity of this machine thread, I took this from Mambos thread. We had to remove the U-bolt and backed off the nut below to help drain the tank and take some weigh out. We backed it off and rocked it until it stopped leaking repeating the process until we were almost out and then just dropped ...
