Re: Powerfab 1200 X
Fred, thanks for taking the time to reply. I went to a very reputable hydraulic trade counter this morning, I don't want to offend anyone but the supplier is a national company. Total waste of time, the guys I spoke to said we don't strip out rotary couplers; just replace them. Any road up, I went t...

Re: Powerfab 1200 X
Fred, Jeremy, if either of you have the time to view the images. I can't work out whether the individual seals between the ports are synthetic material? I also can't work out how the individual seals which could be nylon, would have been installed on to the cylinder? The machine hydraulics operated ...

Re: Powerfab 1200 X
Fred, thanks for taking the time to reply. I have just invested the time to carefully strip out the rotary coupling. I have made sure that the pipes are labelled, thanks for the advice. A real mission to remove as it's very tight, but I have just cleaned and stripped the coupling on the bench, I am ...

Re: Powerfab 1200 X
Guys, I have just cracked the image upload. So I sorted the seals on the control block spool valves. Please view the cylinder in the image, I also have a hydraulic fluid leak from the top of the cylinder when you slew around. I just need to know if I strip out the cylinder can I repair or am I likel...

Re: Powerfab 1200 X
Jeremy, I have tried without success to upload images, also tried different devices to see if chrome made any difference.
Once my images upload, I just see a text file path rather than images.
Any further advice would be appreciated.
Regards

Re: Powerfab 1200 X
Jeremy, thanks for the reply. Pipes are pretty sound, definitely the spool seals leaking. I stripped off the cover plate today, I can clearly see the seal behind a small steel retaining ring. Only thing I can't work out is how to replace? The plunger is a larger diameter at the controls connection, ...

Powerfab 1200 X
Hi Guys, newbie here! I have a hydraulic leak on my control block joysticks, just thinking of stripping top cover plates to investigate. Does anyone have any experience of a repair/ replacement? I don’t even know if I can source parts, maybe I am wasting my time stripping out? The plungers are leaki...
