GOT A OLIVER OC3 CRAWLER BAD ENGINE AND THE REST OF IT WASNT VERY GOOD , HAD A DIAHATSU FOURTRAK DIESEL THOUGHT I WOULD PUT THAT IN IT (SEEMED A GOOD IDEA A THE TIME ) LOTS OF WORK BUT ITS COMING ON NICELY HAD IT RUNNING AND MOVED ABOUT GOT GOOD BIT TO DO YET , BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL GO AGAIN TRY...

I have just been informed by one of my engineers at work that the knob you are asking about does control the traverse for thread cutting; the one knob on the left is direction for both axis and the one on the right engages either the saddle traverse on the 'X or Z' axis. bought a Colchester triumph round top lathe on the opposite side of apron to the thread gauge is push or pull knob and leaver something to do with threading or what any ideas till I get a book, got to take it to bits to get it out of factory :dizzy: bye bye

get it started if it starts in the winter, it will start in the summer try the hyd (cant spell the hole word all the best )
