Re: Figee floating Lemniscate crane.

Thank you for the compliments guys !! :D @topkit, It takes me two years for this crane and it's not completely ready yet. The little things takes a lot of time, but first I want to build the barge. Figee floating Lemniscate crane.

I started a new project right after I finished two years ago the Smith(Rodley) 40 project. An "Figee floating lemniscate crane" as they use in the port of Rotterdam for load and unload sea going vessels. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/post_img/89278_1720763489565bf03d1ba8c.jp...

Re: Smith Rodley

I have a sharper picture somewhere, but I can't find it on this moment.

It could be an Smith 8 but most likely a Smith 7.

Re: Smith Rodley

Thank you very much Fred, pictures of a 40 are very rare, you see often more the Super 10, the Smith 12 and occasionally a Smith 26 or an 28.
But never the less, they all welcome. :D

Re: Smith Rodley

It's one of the first C4046, about 1968/1969. (46 tons lifting capacity)
Great pictures, may I use one of them on my website?
