Hi i have been offered what the seller says is a jcb3c mk3 however I dont think it is? looks like a mk2 cab but the rear arm looks different? its a manual transmission.Can anyone shed some light on the model it is ?

Iain, I don't know what would cause the slew to wander but the rams creeping down I suspect would be one of two problems, the first of which is the most likely and that is that oil is leaking back past the spool valve that controls the boom hoist, or the relief valve in that part of the spool block...

I don't think the 580 has any anti drop valves and probably the spools are worn. The 580 I had would wander on the slew. Have you got the locking pin? Thanks Jeremy took the track drive motor off this morning and have it on the bench.Yeah was speaking to a plant breaker here said the 580c motor fits but runs at a different speed so no good.Has anyone any experience of replacing the seals is it diy or specialist only?

Thanks Jeremy the track drive motor on one side is leaking it seems to be leaking from behind it near the bottom of the motor where it is connected onto the track frame however on the outside plate where the chains etc are there is nothing.If it needs replaced can you find out it a 580c motor fits t...

Hi all i have a nei hymac 580d here in ireland and have a problem.One of the track drives has sprung a leak and leaks even just with the engine running (not moving the tracks).Has anyone had a similar experience? If i need a replacement does a 580c motor fit? thanks
