Do what i did with the alternator throw it in the garbage and put a GM delco one wire alternator on the tractor.

My jcb 3c mk2 is smoking, when i did the head gasket the oil drain for the valve drain was broke off and i never replace it yet. Could this be why it is smoking? oil going to back of valve cover?

Anyone know the approximate weight of the rear boom assembly on a 1976 jcb 3c mk2? got a chance to buy one and have to figure out how to move it.

Engine is now working perfect, no bubbles in coolant and not puffing smoke!

Had to get a new radiator and a new cap. Is a 13 psi cap to much psi? What will happen if i use this cap?

I checked the head with a straight edge . It looks good. Engine is back together and running. Took about 7 hr to complete. Will know for sure when i get the radiator repaired.

Found the problem headgasket, engine is all back together, now and running, however i need a new radiator as the old one was blocked up, and the hole i put in don't help.Should have removed the radiator before trying to replace the water pump.
