This happened to my mk 3 about a month ago I was lucky that I knew someone who had a whole backhoe assembly from a mk 2 and it fitted fine

I wondered if anybody was able to tell me anything about my jcb
Iv cleaned the paint of the serial number

on the plate it says
3c111 140102
Machine serial number 272BS/1/246807

Any information would be great. Thanks guys

I think it must be from a later mk11 then as it still has the hydra clamps attached to the hoses but the slew pots are flat on the ends, i did notice that about the pots before that's what got me wondering, should have a busy weekend then as I also have front wheel bearings to change :P Thank you ve...

Well I have a mk 3 but the slew gear has broken up, so I purchased a whole back actor that I knew was in a hedge on a farm I know, it has the king post, boom, dipper and all rams etc so I thought it would be easier to replace the whole lot rather than fix mine also it was cheap, how ever I'm not sur...

Hello again I'm going to take my 3c mk3 for a drive down the road possibly next week but iv noticed the gearbox makes quite a loud whine when at speed in 4th and 5th As it's the only one iv driven I just wondered if others are like this or is it something I should worry about Any advise welcome Thanks

Hi all, I'm after some help again I have a jcb 3c mk3 with manual gearbox I checked the oil through the dipstick in the floor and it looked really creamy so probably full of water, I'm now going to change it but I wondered if anybody knew what oil to put in, I can get a load of sae 30 oil from work ...
