Near the end of the page are the links to the Lister/Petter workshop manuals that were used on their dumpers maybe these would help you identify the engine?

Think it must be the poor quality of the photo, it has the Simms injector pump fitted, but no shield over the pump, it does look like it in the photo though, I agree!

Winget Identification Plate

Hi All, does any one have a picture, diagram or photo of a Winget 2S/2ST identification plate from around 1975. My unit is missing his and I am looking to get one reproduced for his restoration,

I think sub section 12 is the most helpful, as I am sure other brand of dumpers will have used the same parts ( Transmission, axles, control valves, gearbox etc)? There are also some Lister Petter workshop manuals and Villiers Parts and operators manuals available under the relevant sub sections.......

Winget are part of the Seddon construction group, They have a website where you can find most of the old manuals online under the Parts and service section!

After communication with Winget in the U.K it has been established (From the engine number) that this is a Winget 2ST Serial No.973 Manufactured on 24/05/1975 and was shipped to New Zealand for Winstone Aggregates! I have to say that Steve Hodge (Joint M.D) from Winget was so helpful with retrieving...
