Re: Anybody know what make this crane could be?

That's the sort of thing I was thinking it might be, doesn't look the most substantial of booms

A Waddington & Co Dartford-Farningham sewer contract

Does anyone have any photos of this contract from the early 1970's?

A narrow gauge railway of approx 1 1/2 miles long was used to transport materials due to access restrictions.

Benford mixer information

Hi Can anyone identify the mixer shown in this photo? I think it is a Benford. I'm looking for any sale literature, parts book, drawings for this machine so I can build a model of one. Many thanks http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpix/5286_27TQC2YBZ2TC01562408413.jpg

Re: Wickham-Poole system

Put Wickham-Poole into Google and select images, a good few come up. Also search Wickham-Poole in Flickr. I did hear/read somewhere that Shawnee-Poole dumpers were more or less permanently connected to the tractor, whereas Wickham-Poole was a quick hitch system, but then there looks to be Shawnee-Po...

Wickham-Poole system

Does anyone have any information on the Wickham-Poole trailer system. I have got a bot of info off google and Flickr, but I believe brochures were published on the system and various trailers available. Would anyone have such information?

Thanks

Auto-mower winch tractors

Does anyone know anything about or have any sales literature, etc for the Auto-mower winch tractor conversions done on Fordson and Ford tractors. According to wikipedia "The Fordson Major was the F.M.F.8 and the Ford 5000 was the AT 5"

Re: Ransomes ITW Shunter

What publication are the pics of the ITW shunting wagons from?

Was the winch just fitted to the ITW or could a standard crawler be bought with one fitted?

Re: Post-war Sherman tank conversions

I guess the only pictures of the Onions conversions must be in that book, the scraper is semi mounted onto the back of the tank.

The other conversion is the Crawford conversion that was used for ploughing!
