Does the B250 have wet discs? Late 50s design - I have never been into mine, but by the feel, I always thought they were a dry drum. philc - I have a B250d - never had that problem. I did find a free download PDF of the "Service Man's Handbook" - send me your email and I will send you a copy - maybe it will help.

John. Yes, I believe the 275 is very similar to the 250. I was able to find the British forum and I received some suggestions - it would be easier for you to go there than me try to copy the whole thread and post it here. The address there is

My B250 is wired negative ground. I could be wrong on this, but I believe it has an anternator on it - Dad must have replaced the generator long before I got the tractor.
