Re: JCB 3

looks like it was just at the changeover from the rear entry JCB 3 to the side entry JCB 3c. 1964.
I had a jcb 3 with same rear entry cab as that but the jcb3 front loader.
also got the engine out of a 1964 3c which has same loader as yours but was side entry.

Re: 2 and a half JCB 3's

Hello Guys, I have had the one with the red buckets (no 1) a couple of years now and am slowly but surely trying to make it more original. The other one (no 3) I have just bought so intend to use it regular as a loader. It has a better front loader and back actor than no 1 so will be swapping them o...

2 and a half JCB 3's

got our 2 fully working JCB 3's side by side at the weekend. the rougher looking one has a plate saying 1963 but the other one never had a plate so now not 100% sure when it was made. also have the remains of another one which was a 1964 with different shaped cab. http://www.classicmachinery.net/for...

Re: 3rd JCB 3 bought

Hello Jeremy, thinking of using this one for a loader tractor to save swapping the bucket mixer and forks on our loadall all the time and I will swap some parts off it to make my other jcb 3 more original. http://www.classicmachinery.net/forum/images/userpix/50054_3G1DKTS0I1YCW1463478735.jpg

Re: 3rd JCB 3 bought

it looks worse closer up.
but, original front grille that I can copy for my other one, original style seat I can use, and front loaders in better nick if I can ever be bothered to swap them.
I have seen some in much worse states.

Re: Anyone got a JCB 2BII?

Thanks for the info jcb-mad. I used to be jcb-daft, probably still am. Would the cab on the early 3c mk2 be anything like what would have been on a 2bii. The owner of the 2b told my dad it is a 3 cylinder and it does have the rear lift as though it would have a removable back actor so fairly sure it...
