I was a jockey on one late 60s early 70s, Mick Pearce had 6 brand new.

On a job in the seventies we had some of there old Maggy Duetz dumptrucks tipping to me when i was on a 22a string blade, some of the trucks were a bit tired on the hydraulics, i had to tuck the blade under the buck and give them a lift.

Any old timers on here work for Mick Pearce of Bracknell in the 70s. I started my heavy muckshifting days with them. When they went belly up i worked for Peter Dalton ( Dalton Contracts ). my son in law lives in spain and has an UASA, these little dumpers have a Deutz diter single cylinder diesel engine. when i was out there a few weeks ago, i ground the valves in, unfortunately when i put the head back on i nipped one of the external push rod tubes.
