Re: Classic pictures Update 08/10/2017

Re: Classic pictures Update 19/09/2017

The good pictures posted Oct 1 by pv83 show the trailers with removable rear wheel assemblies. Every time time see pictures of that style trailer, float, lowboy, wonder what was the method of retention and procedure for removal and reinstall. Must have been brutal to remove and install on uneven sof...

Re: IH 295 Payscraper

More memories. Ohare Field Chicago 1960 large job, 46 scrapers as remember 24 hours a day. There were 6 IH 295 scrapers, word on job was they were preproduction 295's, cable control. Re: HYMAC 580 BT

If you guys didn't have buried machines with questionable controls, rock walls, traffic, power poles, overhead wires, and parking lots for unloading you wouldn't have any fun. Great video, pictures and story.

Re: Fowler 3

Would be an interesting system at pcu to control raise, lower, hold and float. A good idea attempting to make operation more productive.

Re: NSM Wabco 170C's

There were three of those 170's if memory doesn't let me down. Have no idea how it occurred but Dom-ex a used equipment and parts outfit in Hibbing Mn at the time purchased trucks and moved back to US. In late 80's if recall correctly there was long lead time for 170 size trucks from Haulpak. A mine...
