Hello Fowler Man. Many thanks sharing those photos. I have nothing but respect for your father and people like him. Your father's bravery is highly commendable. A true pioneer of early aircraft operations....wonderful stuff. I take my hat off to him.
Best Regards, Dave.

Re: AMT Cat D8H
Hi Jeremy, Martyn and Nick, I have two built up AMT D8H Kits. The first one I did was one of the original pre-coloured kits which I have assembled, decal applied and is displayed as it looks on the box. However, since then, I built a later grey AMT D8H kit which had those awful front grille decals. ...

Re: Cummins
To a degree I would say you could be right there Dave but road haulage wise Cummins have lost out as have Perkins who are now owned by Cat and of course the sad demise of the traditional British diesel engine Gardner. Cummins was a very big player in the Engines sector during the 60's 70's and 80's but have not fared so well of more recent years, possibly due to the demise of the Bri...

Re: Drotts on demolition
They are great well sourced photos Craig! Those were the proper days I remember of "pull and run" demolition when IH Drotts, Cat 951/955's ruled along with the ball and chain. Beats todays art of demolition using various types of 360's. which for me is borrring.........
