Davis Taskforce trencher
Sadly see very little about these machines although there are a few knocking around. davis.jpg I do demonstrate at a show most years; have found some useful work lately. trench.jpg More work shows where the machine is tired. Could probably do with finding another for spares if anyone knows of one la...

Re: Auto-mower winch tractors
There is an Auto-mower Winch group on Facebook. It was started and kept going by an ex-Norton-St.-Philip employee. He will answer any questions like that.

Volvo BM loader - being broken
The Volvo loader in the picture is being scrapped because engine parts aren't available to fix the Volvo (Munktells?) engine; it is nothing to do with me, I haven't actually tried to get the bits or want to but it is definitely going into a skip imminently. If anyone wants bits move fast, P.M. me an...

Timber Tractors at South Cerney (a.k.a. New Kemble)
A good show of vintage timber equipment at Gloucestershire Steam Extravaganza; shame there wasn't much timber.

Has any body got anything to say or literature on Hesford Hercules winch?
If it pulls like it looks it should be a good 'un.
Have purchased one but its not one I have come across before.

Re: Fordson help!
Agricultural Fordson E1A's aren't that uncommon without 3 point linkage. Some were used mainly on belt work and/or had permanently mounted equipment such as winches. I can think of two off the top of my head in North Wales. One would be seen at shows up and down the country (was just used by threshi...

Re: Allen of Oxford Trailed Grader / Land Leveller
That's the one. Will follow that up. Thanks. Is there any in the hedge anywhere? Scan those scrap piles. I saved mine literally out of the jaws of the cactus grab. Luckily it's still straight; only the adjusting wheels have bought it. The axle and drawbar have gone. Can any body say that these were ...

Allen of Oxford Trailed Grader / Land Leveller
Has any body got a wrecked/rough Allen trailed grader? I have bought a very tidy and straight example but it has been converted to be drawn by tractor hydraulic linkage so has lost the front axle and drawbar completely. It would be good to purchase parts or a donor machine. Failing this a good examp...
