Re: help identifying this dumper...and starting it
You can have an over fueling problem without the pivoting/weighted stop. Should be able to source some parts from a breaker. Thanks for that EssexPete, I don't suppose anyone knows of a good SHand dealer for the Petter engines. The ones that I have used after doing an internet search haven't really...

Re: help identifying this dumper...and starting it
Thanks. I found the pump primers as described, the one for cylinder 1 was very stiff and difficult to get at behind the throttle linkage, but after some pumping I got the thing started, although I did use a tip I read somewhere of propping the throttle half open as well. Hi Clive, I was propping th...

Re: help identifying this dumper...and starting it
Hi Clive, Welcome to CMN! Your in the right place  There are a number of posts on here regarding the PH2 engines. Many thanks

My question, were all Winget dumpers red from the factory up and till a certain point in time and was it the Javelin red mentioned? If the Javelin red is correct could an...

Re: 3D II tacho
Hi All, Read with intrest the posts. I replaced my tacho drive and cable and the tacho worked fine until the engine oil travelled up the cable and into the tacho itself! The tacho wound itself right around to a full rev reading every time i connected the cable. I haven't got round to looking a...
