Hi,
I would definitely check the lift pump, gauze filter may well be blocked, also worth checking the fuel lines as they tend to break down over time, back in the day I recall having to change them on both our p.7 and 8 machines.Nice looking machine though, should serve you well.

Re: Kubota kx61 or u25
Sounds like the 2010 61 I've just purchased might be the right move then guys. I tried an equally tidy u25 at the same time and for cab comfort alone they were incomparable .thanks for the advice,I will try and post some pictures when she lands next week.

Re: Kubota kx61 or u25
You can't buy a u25 new as far as I'm aware! It's been replaced by the u27! The white cab u25 is a great mini but our black cab ones controls felt a little numb! The KX61 is a good machine with more room in the cab! I'd go for the u27 as it's a zero swing and is less likely to recieve any unnecessa...

Re: 1992 Ford 555C float on the front loader
I had the dubious honour of piloting one over in oz in 93/94, I seem to remember the button was for transmission dump and to float the bucket you had to push the lever all the way forward and it locks .

Re: 3CX Cold Starting
Hello James,my 2002 contractor has always been a reluctant cold starter, there is a heat position on the ignition, one click off of start.Do this several times before turning over. But I still have to buy a new battery each winter. The hour clock is a digital display on the rev counter, notoriously prone...
