Re: Correct Rear Rims & Tyres - 82 3CX White Cab

Thanks guys for all the help and advice. I don't do eBay anymore as the whole paypal thing just got too complicated for me. Preferred it when it was cc and not looking for bank details and permission to debit etc. I should be able to source one locally and there is a bit of life left in the tyres ye...

Re: Correct Rear Rims & Tyres - 82 3CX White Cab

Thanks for that. It's not extra dig, but I think I'll go with the 18 4 26.

Cheers !

Ps: I plan to remove the wheels myself and take away to be fitted. Never done anything that size before. Is it straightforward enough or will I get a mobile fitter out. .?

Hi Folks, I need the help of the experts. I'm going to get a set of rear tyres for my 82 3CX. The current tyres are the same ones I bought it with. I'm confused however as to the correct rim and tyre size. As you can see in the photos, the right hand side has a 16 9/14 28 tyre, with a 28 rim that lo...

Re: Hydra Clamp Removal JCB 3CX '82 White Cab

Hi Rod, Firstly, thanks to Phil for the advice regarding the hydra clamp bolt. I cut it off on Tuesday and tapped the bolt shaft out through the rail. I got a secondhand bolt and better rail washer. I replaced the clamp seals, re-assembled and she's as good as new. Rod, In relation to the manual que...

Hydra Clamp Removal JCB 3CX '82 White Cab

Hello All, I want to change a hydra clamp seal in a 82 3CX. I suspect the seal is leaking and dripping a small amount of fluid. I have the replacement seal, but I can't get the nut off the bolt that runs through the seal casing into the rail. I can turn the nut alright, but the bolt is turning at th...
