Yes, that is the exact advertisment I was referring to - well done !
I believe the Americans refer to this kind of scraper as a "tumblebug" due to the way it dumps its load.

Re: Wabco/Letourneau/Westinghouse CT4 scraper
The model CT was produced from about 1954 up until the early 1970s.
Manufactured in the USA and Australia.
The smaller model DT seems to have been more common.
I've pulled a CT behind an Inter TD25B and it loaded real well, the equal of a Cat 463.

Re: 637s pourin on the coal
Haven't those guys heard of using the apron to get a bigger load ?
I notice one of the operators looses a substantial part of his load near the bottom of the grade just because he has it too high then has to drag the back end thru the soft stuff.

Re: New Job for Alan627b
That's pretty nasty looking material you're working with Alan.
Are you having problems on the fill ?
Does it have to be disced to dry out ?
Probasbly turns to soap when its wet too
BTW I got a pair of those 1st Gear 433's with the Paymate - finally

Re: SCRAPER ?????????
I seem to recall these being advertised for sale for use behind Bristol Taurus track type tractors in the 1950s.
They were advertised as a Bristol scraper.
