Re: JCB 801 boiling batteries

OK I have a service manual that seems to have an extensive section on electrics, if you send me a PM with your email I will send you a copy.

Re: Need help! With hydraulic valves on DB 880 selectamatic

They are very hard to troubleshoot, a valve or control rod/cable out of adjustment will create havoc. You might find a workshop manual on EBay which will help but the easy option is to find an old mechanic who remembers how to fix them. Re: battery charging problem

Thanks Diglet Will try that test on dynamo, if it is OK why am I not getting an increase in voltage with engine running? Is this down to regulator not putting out enough charge? It sounds like playing with a regulator could be a bit risky!! Thanks also to modelman and essexpete, I don't think starte...

Check all connections are good.If you are not using the tractor for weeks at a time, its always best to take the...

Anyway at rest I had 12.6v, so started up and yes I...

Re: JCB 801.4 mini digger

Rad was filled up and clear of dust, so Im guessing it was just the wrong fan belt someone had fitted before I bought it. Its a JCB 801.4 (95). Now having trouoble wi...

Re: JCB 801.4 mini digger

I have just bought a digger, but the engine overheats after just a few mins , even on tickover, the fan belt is quite slack, could this cause my problem?
