Here's a picture showing both of their logos. As you can see, the one you have identified as Eaco, is really Esco.

Re: Goldrush buckets
Nothing defiant about it. They say Esco right on them. I work with their products every day. You guys are seeing the lowercase cursive s as an a, but it is most definitely an s.

Re: Goldrush buckets
Guys, that says Esco, not Eaco. That's Esco's logo, and the buckets on the show are Esco buckets. Esco is one of the show's sponsors.

Hi Mark, Don't worry, it's no big deal getting BC and Alberta confused. They're right next to each other. I figured you might have meant Highvale Coal, since it is very similar sounding to Highland Valley Copper. The video you mentioned of the 191 loading the Euclid trucks is actually from Island Co...

You bet Dah. The D9L was replaced with the D10N. They're both pretty much the same size, but a few upgrades on the D10N made it just a touch bigger all around.

Yeah, he certainly wasn't in a hurry. Everything at that mine seems to be pretty relaxed, and I guess he was just cleaning up as he went to avoid having to back up.

Re: Belaz haul truck payload 450 metric tonnes
Certainly that would be true if it was meant as a coal machine. However, most trucks used to haul only coal have special bodies for the lightweight material. Trucks that are used to move both the light material and standard rock, usually don't have an oversized body. This truck wasn't built specific...

Gavin, I'd like to think it's still there in a boneyard somewhere. But the reality is, it was parked up around 25 years ago, so the odds are not in our favour. I wouldn't rule it out however, anything is possible. If anybody has any pictures of the electric machine, I'd love to see them. I've only e...

Re: O&K RH300, NSM and their Gresley and Godkin Sites.
Is it possible that the arrival of the RH200 sealed the fate of the RH300? If I recall correctly, the second RH300 machine built (an electric version) had a 34 yard bucket which is the same as that of the standard RH200 shovel (barring the pilot machine which featured a 27yd unit, ending up at Stob...
