Re: Cat dozers
Hello Deas, A little bit off topic but would you have any more information on the DD9G in WA you mentioned in one of your earlier posts? The contractor who owned it? Its demise? Going by what I have read in various books and magzines I assumed very, very, very few of them made it outside the US, pa...

Nice pics Craig. Thats a rather large cut for the little scoop behind the D6!
The D9 looks in good shape for a G series if it was the 80's as well. Post away if you have more pics please!

Re: First new D9L in UK
Love the photos and stories about the old days guys, keep em coming. I notice that they only needed a two axle lowloader trailer back then for a D9L. The link below is to some photos recently posted from NZ showing a D9L on a float. Quite a difference in the number of tyres required in the last 30yr...

Trans Alaska Pipeline
Hi,
Just found this large collection of pictures from the construction of the Trans Alaska Pipeline.
Plenty of pictures of all the old equipment they used.
Trans Alaska Pipeline
Sadly no greenmachines from what I have seen so far.
Regards Greenmachine

Re: Stripping overburden in NZ.
Nice picture. I think it is a brand new D9H about to get its blade dirty for the first or second time rather than a D8K.
