Thank you, this is the smallest in the line of hydraulic industrial cranes ranging from 2 - 35 tons, the 35 ton version must of been quite some machine! I have a sales brochure which I had shipped from USA which is interesting but unfortunately no dates.

Here’s my latest toy purchase, it’s a Grove Stevedore 4000 full hydraulic Crane with hydrastastatic drive, it’s a great machine and is already proving very useful. It’s powered by an Onan CCKA twin cylinder horizontally opposed engine which runs on propane. https://flickr.com/photos/60821885@N04/set...

Thank you for your comments guys, the only problem i have upto now is working out how the throttle linkage should go, if there was one? or should the engine just be set at a certain RPM and left at that, the engine is a JAP Model 6 single cylinder
